Senior Living Support Staff

- Responsibilities:
- Perform all housekeeping activities, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, laundry, shampooing carpets, scrubbing bathrooms, cleaning counters, and taking out the trash
- Restock common area bistro's and bathrooms, resident rooms and bathrooms with paper products and hand soap
- Follow detailed cleaning worksheets/checklists for each room and common area
- Use chemical cleaners and power equipment according to specifications
- Clean community common area and resident room(s) floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming
- Steam clean or shampoo carpet
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Make adjustments to heating/cooling and ventilation system
- Gather and empty trash
- Remove debris from outdoor porches, parking lot, and dumpster area
- Ensure all bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and liquid soap
- Replace light bulbs throughout the community
- Notify supervisor concerning need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required
- One year job-related experience
- Understanding of infection control procedures
- Able to multitask and manage stress
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
