Detailed Job Description:
  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform all housekeeping activities, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, laundry, shampooing carpets, scrubbing bathrooms, cleaning counters, and taking out the trash
  • Restock common area bistro's and bathrooms, resident rooms and bathrooms with paper products and hand soap
  • Follow detailed cleaning worksheets/checklists for each room and common area
  • Use chemical cleaners and power equipment according to specifications
  • Clean community common area and resident room(s) floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming
  • Steam clean or shampoo carpet
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
  • Make adjustments to heating/cooling and ventilation system
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Remove debris from outdoor porches, parking lot, and dumpster area
  • Ensure all bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and liquid soap
  • Replace light bulbs throughout the community
  • Notify supervisor concerning need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required
  • One year job-related experience
  • Understanding of infection control procedures
  • Able to multitask and manage stress
  • Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
