Job Title: Caregiver and Support Staff for Hospice Patients

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

We are seeking a caring and skilled caregiver to join our Hospice Team at Atrium Health. As a member of our team, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes, promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Perform vital sign checks and other clinical tasks as needed
  • Support patients with personal hygiene and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Current listing on the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Ability to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds
