Job Summary

LG Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Design Release Engineer I to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for managing the release of parts to customer vehicle teams and supporting the integration of these parts from development to product launch and quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onsite customer support to resolve manufacturing and technical issues, including troubleshooting and communicating issues with R&D and OEM.
  • Work closely with OEM vehicle teams to support development activities, including module retrofitting, buy-off rides, and barrier tests.
  • Manage OEM customer relationships, including product and vehicle teams.
  • Write work orders to release parts and document engineering changes for assigned programs.
  • Develop and manage vehicle program milestones, as needed.
  • Support Product and Vehicle Team meetings, providing the interface between the two teams.
  • Write and manage calibration files for development and production releases based on vehicle requirements.
  • Occasional late/early calls with HQ.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Travel up to 20% (domestic and international).
  • Preferred: Automotive Engineering experience and 1+ years of engineering experience.
