Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of the department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary. The successful candidate will be skilled in electrical systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of electrical principles and technical applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate power tools, hand tools, and other specialized electrical installation equipment.
  • Cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings at a constant rate, meeting national standards.
  • Construct and maintain equipment, ensuring it is safe and functional.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and equipment diagrams to understand electrical system designs and requirements.
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical field issues, identifying and resolving problems efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Support a performance-based culture, driving continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local agencies, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Promote a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience, providing the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for the job.
  • Equivalent experience, vocational school, or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a similar field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Automated Logic hardware product lines and network architecture is preferred.
  • Prior experience installing Building Automation Systems from Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, or Niagara is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and high-quality document preparation are essential.
  • Ability to plan and prepare for tasks assigned, demonstrating a self-starter attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
Compensation

The pay rate for this position is $33-$38 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
