Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC. As a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, we offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment with opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist radiologists with invasive procedures, utilizing Special Procedures radiographic equipment and patient monitoring devices.
  • Monitor vital signs for patients requiring conscious sedation within the department.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and database to track outcomes and quality of care.
  • Perform general diagnostic work as required.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Special Procedures Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology or an Invasive Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • Proficiency in supporting different physicians with Cardiac Pacemaker Implants and Interventional Body and Vascular procedures.
  • Current CPR certification.

Work Schedule: PRN, Day Shifts. Call varies based on patient needs. Call rotations are for 1 full week.

Compensation: Minimum $51.00 per hour - Maximum $51.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
