Effectively processes and verifies incoming returns, batteries, and cores to ensure accurate receipt.

Essential Functions:
  • Precisely scans or confirms the receipt of products.
  • Reviews documentation and accurately records any discrepancies in overages and shortages for incoming items.
  • Assesses the quality of received products, distinguishing between new and used parts.
Knowledge, Skills, Duties, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrates accuracy in task execution.
  • Exhibits strong attention to detail.
  • Maintains organization and focus on assigned tasks.
  • Works independently with self-motivation.
  • Utilizes scanners effectively alongside the inventory management system.
  • Responsible for checking and replenishing stock, inspecting for damages, and verifying inventory counts.
  • Aims to meet and uphold accuracy and productivity targets.
  • Enters overages and shortages into the system promptly, typically within 24 hours of completion.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
  • Communicates effectively in both verbal and written forms.
  • Collaborates successfully within a diverse workforce, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Performs additional duties or assists in other departments as required.
Conditions of Employment:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screening is required.
  • Must wear appropriate footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per company policy.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Fisher Auto Parts Employee Handbook is mandatory.
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, squat, and stoop.
  • May need to climb, push/pull, balance, crouch or crawl, talk, speak, and hear.
  • Specific vision capabilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high places, toxic or caustic chemicals, varying weather conditions, and moderate to heavy noise levels.
  • Must possess considerable mobility and the ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.
