Trust and Estate Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust and Estate Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide comprehensive legal counsel and support on a broad range of trust and estate matters.

• Provide sophisticated tax planning and estate administration services to high net worth individuals and families.
• Prepare and review legal documents related to estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
• Advise clients on tax implications related to estate planning and wealth transfer, including gift tax, estate tax, and generation-skipping transfer tax.
• Represent clients in probate court proceedings, conservatorships, and trust litigations.
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other attorneys to develop comprehensive estate plans.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax and trust laws to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice to clients.

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• LLM in Tax is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trusts and estates law, with a focus on high net worth individuals.
• Extensive knowledge of probate administration, conservatorships, and tax planning.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and other professionals.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality for handling sensitive information.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
