Essential Functions
  • Gaining the necessary skills to successfully graduate from the Police Academy and attain MPOETC certification.
  • Accompanying police officers in conducting patrols, enforcing laws, and responding to calls.
  • Developing and enhancing skills and understanding of laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Recruiting potential candidates, providing program information, and attending promotional events.
Physical Effort

The Police Officer - Academy will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. The position will also require the ability to work in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public.
