Fire Protection and Security Systems Sales Specialist

Position Title: Fire & Security Systems Sales Representative
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales for new fire alarm installation contracts, security contracts, access control systems, CCTV, and service agreements. This position will report to the Director of Alarm and Suppression, depending on the organizational structure of the branch office.
This role demands a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, focusing on sales, client prospecting, and customer service. The position requires travel to meet with potential and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Identify and qualify potential clients for service contracts through various outreach methods, including phone calls and in-person meetings.
- Follow up with all newly installed sprinkler systems to promote inspection contract opportunities.
- Prepare renewal quotes for current clients as necessary.
- Conduct site assessments to gather information for quotes and enhance client understanding of our service offerings.
- Provide quotes for service follow-up based on operational requirements.
- Maintain an active proposal backlog to support the assigned sales targets.
- Achieve sales goals to meet budgetary expectations.
- Utilize Salesforce and the Weekly Sales Activity Report to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all required correspondence.
- Participate in departmental meetings as necessary.
- Engage in conference calls with management as required.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are necessary:
- A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in fire alarm, security, access control, or CCTV systems is required.
- A background in technical or business disciplines or equivalent experience with a proven track record is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade and close sales are crucial.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
