Job Summary

This 510-bed acute care hospital is part of Yale New Haven Health, Connecticut's leading healthcare system. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, education, and support to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient nutrition care for a variety of inpatient units
  • Demonstrate a passion for service in the dietetics field
  • Work every 5th weekend and rotating holidays providing hospital-wide coverage
  • Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays, as assigned
  • Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Registered Dietitian credentials, or be RD eligible
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • The ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
  • A strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care
