Job Title: Painter/Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Painter/Carpenter to join our team at Omni Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the general condition of our property, ensuring that all public and guest room finishes are in good condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and replace wood finishes as needed.
  • Repair and replace door finishes and hardware.
  • Maintain all public and guest room finishes, including paint, stains, and wallpaper.
  • Keep the hotel decor in good condition.
  • Clean all work areas after completing tasks.
  • Fill out daily work forms.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
  • Complete work requests in Synergy daily.
  • Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools.
  • Assist with capital improvement projects and property improvement projects.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of previous experience as a commercial carpenter and painter.
  • Flexible availability, including possible holiday shifts and weekends.
  • Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, stains, and trade tools.
  • Attention to detail is important.
