Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Painter/Carpenter to join our team at Omni Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the general condition of our properties.

Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and replace wood finishes to ensure a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Repair and replace door finishes and hardware to maintain the integrity of our facilities.
  • Maintain all public and guest room finishes, including paint, stains, and wallpaper, on an ongoing basis.
  • Keep the hotel decor in good condition, ensuring that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Clean all work areas after completing job tasks.
  • Fill out daily work forms to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
  • Complete work requests in Synergy daily.
  • Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools.
  • Answer all guest and associate-related Synergy requests.
  • Assist with capital improvement projects and property improvement projects.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of previous experience as a commercial carpenter and painter.
  • Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including possible vacation shifts and weekends.
  • Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, stains, and trade tools.
  • Attention to detail is essential for this role.
