Job Title: Painter/Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Painter/Carpenter to join our team at Omni Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the general condition of our property, ensuring that our guests and associates have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and replace wood finishes as needed.
  • Repair and replace door finishes and hardware.
  • Maintain all public and guest room finishes, including paint, stains, and wallpaper.
  • Keep the hotel decor in good condition.
  • Clean all work areas after completing tasks.
  • Fill out daily work forms.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
  • Complete work requests in Synergy daily.
  • Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of previous experience as a commercial carpenter and painter.
  • Flexible availability, including possible holiday shifts and weekends.
  • Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, stains, and trade tools.
  • Attention to detail is important.
