Position Overview

Each year, we positively impact nearly 25,000 lives, particularly focusing on those with physical, developmental, and emotional challenges, as well as individuals facing socio-economic hardships such as unemployment and underemployment.

We are currently seeking a passionate Youth Support Coordinator to join our Project WOW initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with program personnel to conduct comprehensive intake, assessment, and case management services for all participants.
  • Promote program offerings to participants, their families, and potential candidates.
  • Develop and maintain supportive service and educational materials tailored to meet the needs of participants and align with program objectives.
  • Record all interactions with participants in our database and prepare monthly statistical reports detailing the enrollment and demographics of youth in the program.
  • Handle inquiries, respond to calls from prospective participants, schedule enrollment meetings, and communicate with program staff. Collaborate closely with the Education Facilitator to arrange entrance testing appointments.
  • Conduct interviews, provide tours, and orient prospective participants, ensuring a suitable match for the program. Collaborate with participants to establish program completion goals.
  • A bachelor's degree or two years of college coursework (Associate's degree) in psychology, education, social work, vocational studies, or related fields, along with a minimum of two years of experience in social service agencies, or equivalent specialized training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience working with Out of School Youth (OSY) and underserved populations facing multiple barriers to education and employment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with best practices in Youth Development.
  • Experience in job development, career services, and career counseling or coaching is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
