The Welding Supervisor will oversee the welding department, ensuring efficient and safe operations. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team and drive results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of welding department personnel
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Lead and direct the work of others to achieve production goals and quality standards
  • Facilitate the operations of the weld department to ensure volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved
  • Actively work within ERP and planning software to validate and execute production schedules
  • Work closely with team leads and supervisors to ensure alignment on strategy and job priorities
  • Ensure materials and workforce resources are adequate to meet production schedules
  • Produce finished parts from raw materials using a wide range of welding processes
  • Demonstrate creativity and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Establish preventative actions to meet specific safety and environmental goals
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to address and resolve internal and external problems
  • Ensure compliance with all housekeeping procedures, quality, and safety regulations
  • Support company culture and core values
Requirements
  • Five to ten years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or welding environment
  • Two years' experience rigging weldments and materials in a safe manner
Education and Experience
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of hands-on welding experience
