Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality and safety standards within our process piping division.

This role entails inspecting and evaluating the integrity of welds, ensuring adherence to the appropriate procedures and equipment, and confirming that safe work practices are being followed by our skilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance program along with necessary documentation.
  • Present the QA/QC program to stakeholders, including owners, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and general contractors.
  • Monitor welding processes, materials, and environmental conditions to identify and address potential issues.
  • Facilitate communication with Managers, Superintendents, and craft personnel through various channels.
  • Assess information to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Organize, plan, and prioritize tasks, setting specific goals and work plans to achieve objectives.
  • Handle daily administrative responsibilities, including filing and processing paperwork.
  • Provide training and mentorship, identifying educational needs and developing relevant programs to enhance workforce skills.
  • Inspect and measure materials, products, and installations for compliance with specifications.
  • Recommend corrective actions based on inspection findings.
  • Review contract documents, manuals, and specifications to determine required inspection and testing procedures.
  • Ensure that team members meet project specifications.
  • Verify that materials conform to project requirements.
  • Prepare inspection reports detailing results, recommendations, and procedural adjustments.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED – required
5 years of relevant experience in process piping
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficient in quality control analysis, capable of conducting visual and destructive testing as necessary to assess compliance with specifications.

Strong reading comprehension skills to understand work-related documents. Effective communication skills to convey information clearly.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
Valid driver's license - required
OSHA - 10 and 30-Hour Certifications – required – provided by Wayne Brothers
Certified Welding Inspector designation - required
Physical Demands:
Ability to walk, sit, lift, and carry up to 90 pounds.

Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching required. Capability to stand for extended periods. Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential.
