Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds.
- Repair and maintain various systems, including plumbing, electrical, safety and security systems, and HVAC systems.
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces, and clean common areas, including sweeping, mopping, and garden/yard upkeep.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within Residential Property Management.
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; technical school and/or CAMT certification, preferred.
- Valid Driver's License, a good driving record, current motor vehicle insurance, and an operable vehicle that meets FPI's Driving Standards and Personal Vehicle Use policy.
- Ability to wear a respirator and comply with FPI's facial hair policy.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Basic computer skills (email, internet, etc.).
