About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and phlebotomy.
  • Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently in our electronic medical records system.
  • Perform diagnostic screening tests and maintain examination rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Deliver direct patient care, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR certification.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to pass a proficiency exam.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified or registered medical assistant.
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • Medication administration experience.
  • 1 year of medical assisting experience.
  • Value-based care experience, including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS patient experience.
