Job Summary

Provide technical expertise in the identification, investigation, and resolution of plant operating, safety, and design issues to ensure plant reliability and availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, trend, and assess systems and components to improve reliability
  • Establish system performance for designated systems and identify and prioritize corrective actions to ensure system, safety, reliability, and availability
  • Lead cross-functional teams to manage and resolve long-term system performance issues
  • Ensure system readiness and compliance with design and license basis
Requirements
  • BS Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years related industry experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Familiar with mechanical engineering concepts and operations
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities and adaptive ways of doing business
  • Available for shift work and must meet Nuclear requirements for unescorted site access
Preferred Qualifications
  • Greater than 10 years of experience in Nuclear Power Plant Engineering
  • SRO license/certification or System Engineering
  • MS or PE
