Job Opportunity

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN/LPN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting them with transitioning from hospital to home and providing continuous care to ensure their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conducting patient assessments and coordinating care
  • Administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Documenting care provided in our system of record
  • Providing health education and training to family members
  • Accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians, as required

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
