We are seeking candidates who possess experience in conducting Property Condition Assessments (PCA) and preparing technical documentation.

Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of ASTM standards and their application in both assessments and reports.

Experience in seismic, structural, mechanical, civil, and environmental evaluations, as well as pre-construction document analysis, construction oversight, and report assessments, is highly desirable.

A willingness to travel 50% to 75% of the workweek is essential.

Your Responsibilities:
Conduct Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) nationwide and provide additional property-related services.
Perform walk-through evaluations and assessments of significant building systems, structures, and foundations.

Develop proactive solutions and estimate costs to address any identified deficiencies, producing a comprehensive report detailing building conditions in accordance with ASTM Standards and client-specific requirements.


Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution in a relevant field (Architecture or Engineering preferred) with a minimum of three years of related experience in Property Condition Assessments (PCAs). Alternatively, five years of relevant experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience, may be considered.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Personal credit sufficient to cover business travel expenses up to $3,000 is necessary.
Current registration as an Architect or Professional Engineer is preferred.
Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the role and pass a background check/drug screening.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

While performing onsite duties, the employee is required to:
Travel by various means (50%-75% of workweek) to client locations across the U.S. Typical travel patterns may include one day on-site followed by one day at home, with occasional overnight stays and weekend travel.
Walk and stand for extended periods during the workday.

Engage in activities such as sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling to inspect areas as necessary.

Climb and balance on stairs and ladders to access various building features.
Utilize hands and fingers for keyboard and tablet interaction.
Communicate effectively with onsite contacts.
Exhibit visual acuity for various tasks.
Lift and/or move items weighing up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Operate electronic devices for data collection and computers for reporting.

Office/Offsite Duties:
In an office or offsite setting, the employee is regularly required to use hands, stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear.

Occasional reaching, climbing, or balancing may be required, along with lifting up to 10 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet.

Compensation Overview:
Starting salary range: $75,000 +

Annual Incentive Bonus Plan
Base pay is adjusted based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
