Job Title: Tax Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team at Insight Global. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in assisting with the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings, including income, property, and sales & use tax.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings, including research and analysis of tax laws and regulations.
  • Perform research as issues arise and assist in all areas of tax department activity.
  • Experience with corporate tax preparation software and forms, including CCH Prosystem FX and BNA.
  • Strong experience with Sales & Use Tax Returns preparation and filing of monthly returns and workpaper preparation.
  • Experience with State Income Tax, including apportionment schedules, return preparation, and return software compliance.
  • Experience with Property Tax Returns, including aircraft reporting, return preparation, and review.
Requirements:
  • BA in accounting or relevant field and 2 plus years of experience in corporate tax preparation, preferably at a public accounting firm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
