Chemours Tax Accounting & Compliance Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accounting & Compliance Intern to join our Tax Department team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our domestic Tax team and contribute to various activities within the tax function.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on domestic and international tax planning issues
  • Collect and analyze data for tax return preparation and compliance
  • Build data analytics related to US and total company ETR and cash taxes
  • Calculate components of quarterly income tax calculations for SEC filings
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects, including transfer pricing documentation, notice tracking, and tax forecasting
Requirements:
  • Current enrollment at an accredited university as a sophomore or above
  • Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3.2 GPA or above
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in tax and/or accounting
  • Experience with OneSource tax software and/or SAP
  • Familiarity with data analytics software (Power BI, etc.)
