We are seeking a dynamic supervisor to assist in managing, coaching, and developing our team of swim instructors and lifeguards at Goldfish Swim School - Cleveland East.

Requirements:
  • Ability to engage with children

Job Overview:
  • Provides guidance, discipline, and constructive feedback to instructors and deck teachers to ensure high-quality delivery of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
  • Engages with parents/guardians to discuss student progress.
  • Acts as a representative of GSS to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Completes daily Deck Supervisor logs during assigned shifts and monitors student attendance.
  • Coordinates tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the pool facility.
  • Serves as a substitute swim instructor when needed.
  • Mentors staff to help them achieve their goals through workshops, in-services, or other training opportunities.
Education/Experience: A high school diploma or GED is preferred. A college degree is desirable. Two or more years of experience as a swim instructor is preferred. Experience as a youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, or teacher is also preferred.
Certificates and Licenses: Ellis Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications will be required. Goldfish will provide on-site certification and offers a $100 certification bonus.
