Job Summary:The QA Line Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our production process. This includes performing finished goods checks, verifying product meets quality standards, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Verify product labels, code dates, and lot numbers to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and report any quality issues or defects to the production team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S methodology.
- Collaborate with the production team to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Basic math skills and ability to understand plant KPIs (production, quality, and safety).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in a cold, wet, and fast-paced environment.
The QA Line Inspector will work in a refrigerated environment, exposed to extreme cold temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The associate will be required to perform repetitive movements and work near mechanical parts.
The QA Line Inspector must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, move about within a fast-paced environment, and traverse between the maintenance shop and production floor. The associate must also be able to frequently move, push, or carry items up to 50 pounds.
The QA Line Inspector will be required to work in outdoor weather conditions and exchange accurate information through frequent communication. The associate must be able to detect, identify, inspect, observe, and assess surroundings.
