Job Title: Assistant, Associate, or Professor in Palliative Care

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as an Assistant, Associate, or Professor in Palliative Care at the University of Kentucky. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our palliative care program, working closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

About the Position

This is a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Internal Medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care, teaching, and research.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with serious illnesses, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary palliative care team.
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in palliative care, contributing to the development of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the palliative care program, through research, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

A medical degree (MD) or equivalent.Completion of residency training in a relevant specialty.Board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.A strong commitment to teaching, research, and quality improvement.What We Offer
