Pediatric Palliative Care Physician

Ochsner Health is seeking an experienced, board-certified Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to serve as Section Head of Pediatric Palliative Care at Ochsner Children's Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will join an established pediatric palliative care program within Ochsner Health's regional health system, the largest not-for-profit academic health system in the Gulf South.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Care: Provide inpatient and outpatient palliative care services for children.
- Teaching and Research: Teach medical students, residents, and allied health students.
- Academic Appointment: Commensurate with experience.
Ochsner Children's Hospital is the top congenital heart program in the state (both in volume and outcomes) and has the largest and most comprehensive pediatric liver transplant program in the Gulf South.
Ochsner Children's offers a full range of pediatric care from primary to quaternary care, with services offered in all subspecialties, including Congenital Cardiac Surgery, Advanced GI and Hepatology, Advanced Orthopedic Surgery, Hematology-Oncology, Cleft Palate/Cranio-Facial Surgery, as well as heart, liver, and bone marrow transplant.
