Job Title: Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional

Job Summary:

We're seeking a qualified and compassionate Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) to join our team. As a QIDP, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and success of our clients by providing oversight and support of individual programming and needs in assigned ICF programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that promote independence and quality of life.
  • Conduct training and education for facility and day program staff on individual programming and best practices.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and services provided.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve discrepancies and conflicts between programmatic, medical, dietary, and vocational aspects of client care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field and one year of experience in direct service with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of ICF rules and regulations preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on customer service and quality of care.
