Developmental Disabilities Specialist

At Sevita, we are committed to providing high-quality services and supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) to join our team.
Job Summary:The QIDP will provide oversight and support of individual programming and needs in assigned ICF programs. This includes working closely with facility and day program staff to ensure consistency and ensure service design and delivery, providing each individual with an active and appropriate treatment program.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including writing and updating individual's POC, programs, data sheets, and informed consents.
- Conduct training on individual programming for facility and day program staff.
- Complete ongoing required documentation for each individual served, such as monthly documentation and progress notes.
- Ensure that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with legal and corporate requirements.
- Collaborate with facility and vocational program staff to ensure comprehensive support and services.
- Conduct observations of all shifts at each facility and at the day program, providing feedback and recommendations to supervisors and staff.
- Maintain knowledge of clinical standards and ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, corporate, and legal requirements.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with clients, families, funding sources, and regulatory agencies.
- Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field and one year of experience in direct service with people with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of ICF rules and regulations, preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer service orientation and a strong follow-through.
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm schedule.
- Hourly rate of $20.75 and full benefits package for employees working 30+ hours/week.
