Job Title: Full-Time Direct Care Staff

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join Lifesteps as a Full-Time Direct Care Staff in the region.

Lifesteps, a non-profit human services organization, has been serving Western Pennsylvania for 100 years. Our mission is to help individuals and families with life's changing needs, enabling them to live to their fullest potential.

Position Summary

The Direct Care Companion provides high-quality care to individuals while ensuring they are treated with respect and dignity. This role involves assisting individuals in learning to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care to individuals with special needs
  • Assist with daily living activities to promote independence
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment
Requirements
  • Age 18 or older
  • Able to lift 200 lbs. with assistance
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Able to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
