Job Description

This role involves performing a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of water transmission and distribution systems and facilities. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing all functions of the position in a safe and conscientious manner, with constant regard for the safety of fellow employees and the general public.
  
• Upholding Company policies and procedures relative to safety and acting in a professional manner to reduce exposure to hazards.
  
• Maintaining tools and work equipment, investigating complaints, and determining corrective actions needed.
  
• Completing necessary forms, sketches, and field notes and being knowledgeable of usage of maps and records.
  
• Performing facility mark-outs pursuant to Pennsylvania One-Call and maintaining a properly equipped vehicle.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Basic geographical knowledge of the company's service area.
  
• A working knowledge of company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
  
• The ability to operate company equipment and vehicles necessary for completion of assigned responsibilities.

Work Environment

This role requires adaptability to variations in topography and weather conditions, as well as the ability to lift and maneuver equipment and materials up to 100 lbs. You will be required to possess and maintain a driver's license valid in the state of your residence and obtain a DOT medical card.
