At Hackensack Meridian Health, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing our mission to transform healthcare. As a Clinical Computer Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our perioperative systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and maintaining perioperative databases, including HSM, HBI, and HEMM.
  • Testing and documenting database modifications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Entering inventory locations in HEMM and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in the OR.
  • Providing computer training and support to employees, as well as coordinating global updates and resource mapping.
  • Assigning procedures to surgeons based on credentialing and creating resource maps for new physicians and procedures.
  • Reviewing and entering new items into the HSM database, performing OR charging functions, and reviewing charges before processing.
  • Training employees on OR charging procedures and acting as a liaison to Finance, ISD, and Materials.
  • Printing routine reports and creating new computer reports as needed, as well as reviewing OR nursing data entry reports and making corrections.

Requirements include:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and graduation from an approved nursing school.
  • Operating Room Nurse experience and working knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and ClinStar.
  • NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.

Preferred qualifications include a minimum of 3-5 years of Operating Room Nurse experience.
