We are currently seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to engage in coaching and training regarding skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction strategies with families, caregivers, and agency personnel, such as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person or virtual coaching and training to DSP staff from participating IDD/BH providers.
- Support agency personnel in the development, execution, and monitoring of Behavior Support Plans (BSP), including guidance on data collection and fidelity assessments.
- Collaborate with DSPs and their supervisors to ensure necessary materials and resources for behavior plan implementation are readily available.
- Present graphical summaries of BSP effectiveness to DSPs during meetings.
- Model positive behavioral interventions and respond to emergency situations as per training.
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessment Interviews and/or Observations as assigned by BCBA or Director.
- Engage in provider wraparound or consultation meetings, sharing assessment findings and providing best practice recommendations.
- Offer crisis de-escalation support to teams as needed.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all supervisory standards in line with BACB regulations.
- Maintain regular communication with the Director and team members regarding individual and provider support activities.
- Attend all relevant agency, departmental, and client-specific meetings as directed.
- Report any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the appropriate supervisor or department head.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational standards to safeguard the health, safety, and confidentiality of all individuals served.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A Bachelor's degree in a human or social services-related field is required.
- Registered Behavior Technician certification in the State of California.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with IDD and/or BH diagnoses.
- Valid BLS CPR and Basic First Aid certification.
- Certification in crisis de-escalation and physical management training, such as Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI).
- Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Proficiency in computer usage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in one or more of the following languages: English/Spanish; English/Mandarin; English/Korean; English/Tagalog.
