About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join Apple's Special Projects team as a Senior Perception Systems Engineer. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize core algorithms for multi-object tracking and identity recognition using Swift. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and fine-tune models and algorithms.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years of production programming experience in C/C++/Swift
  • Excellent software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems
  • Proficient understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Experience with computer vision and state estimation algorithms
  • M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, or related areas, and 5 years of relevant industry experience

Salary Range

The base pay for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and education reimbursement. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
