Role Overview
We're seeking a motivated leader to drive our roadmap, partner cross-functionally, and bring it to life. Every customer using a Mac interacts with our products, including Dock, Control Center, Notifications, Wallpaper, Mission Control, Spaces, Stage Manager, Sidecar, and Universal Control. Our goal is to deliver a simple and understandable user experience as our system features become more advanced.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage an all-remote team and prioritize work across the team.
- Represent the team's work within broad efforts and influence stakeholders and partners to deliver the needed impact.
- Collaborate with outstanding engineering and cross-functional colleagues to succeed and grow.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a remote team.
- Self-sufficiency in working remotely.
- Excellent software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
- Exemplary ownership with consistent initiative to design, commit to, and deliver solutions.
- Ability to expertly manage team commitments through a well-communicated process.
- Fast learner and proficient context-switcher with comfort in high breadth of ownership.
- Outstanding problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Terrific cross-team and cross-functional partner.
- High-quality user experience-centric product decisions.
- Demonstrated record of success in building a high-performing team.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
Additional Requirements
The base pay range for this role at Apple is between $219,300 and $329,600, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. You'll also have opportunities to participate in discretionary employee stock programs, receive comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounted products, and reimbursement for educational expenses.
