Job Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our Child Protection Program at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.

This role will involve providing comprehensive medical evaluations for suspected victims of abuse within the greater Philadelphia area, working closely with local investigators, and educating trainees and medical students.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough medical evaluations for suspected child abuse cases
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
  • Providing expert testimony in court proceedings
  • Educating medical students, residents, and fellows on child abuse diagnosis and management
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A BC/BE in Child Abuse Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics
  • A graduate degree from an ACGME-accredited Pediatric residency program
  • An unrestricted PA medical license
  • The ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification for the Commonwealth of PA
Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary range: $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience
