About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Property Manager to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our property operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Community Director in the day-to-day management of our apartment community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Community Director in supervising on-site staff, including Resident Services Coordinators, Compliance Specialists, and Maintenance Technicians.
  • Carry out the philosophies and wishes of the Owner in the daily operations of the apartment community.
  • Maintain positive and professional communication with applicants, residents, vendors, clients, and guests.
  • Operate the property in the absence of the Community Director.
  • Responsible for training and onboarding of new leasing team members.
  • Assist with the completion of monthly Market Surveys and analysis.
  • Implement advertising and marketing strategies for the apartment community.
  • Exhibit professional leasing techniques and ensure that all online marketing sources are updated daily.
  • Promote positive resident/management relations and retain desirable residents.
  • Assist with the implementation of resident retention programs.
  • Ensure the safety, comfort, and privacy of all property residents.
  • Ensure move-in orientation is completed consistently with new residents.
  • Assist the Community Director in maximizing revenue potential of the property through the management of lease expirations and timely turnover.
  • Accurately process vendor invoices and manage accounting month end.
  • Maintain appropriate resident files and ensure the daily integrity and confidentiality of resident files.
  • Meet all periodic reporting requirements as requested/required.
  • Assist in budget preparation and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance of Risk Management items through the following of the FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
  • React calmly and professionally in emergency, emotional, and/or stressful situations.
  • Facilitate resident communication and satisfaction by following up on maintenance requests.
  • Consistently and fairly enforce community rules and regulations, FPI Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Comply with all Fair Housing Laws and FPI policies and procedures.
  • Promote a professional image by adhering to FPI Management's Dress Code Policy.
  • Conduct displayed must be of a professional manner when communicating with employees, residents, prospective residents, clients, vendors, and guests.
  • Responsible for meeting all training requirements for the position.
