As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and managing our company's Quality Control Program, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Control Program Management: Develop and implement project-specific quality controls and metrics, and own the quality control management program.
- Quality Control Reporting: Regularly create QCM reports to Project Management Teams and the General Superintendent to help facilitate and ensure quality control metrics are upheld.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate project issues on quality and progress to the General Superintendent and company Executives, and establish effective working relationships with Superintendents, Project Management Teams, Executives, and Clients.
- Training and Development: Implement and oversee training of Superintendents on the Company's Quality Control Program.
- Quality Control Site Evaluations: Conduct weekly site evaluations for local as well as out-of-town projects, and provide guidance for field operations on local, state, and industry standard quality regulations.
- Construction Industry Knowledge: Must maintain an in-depth knowledge of construction standards and best practices, including knowledge of both site and vertical construction means and methods.
- Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Must have the ability to problem solve and determine solutions for project-specific requirements, and possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel as needed to jobsites across the country (licensed in 48 states).
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PlanGrid software.
- OSHA Certification: OSHA 30 Required.
