Quality Control Inspector

At International Auto Processing, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our vehicles and maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect vehicles upon arrival, during processing, and upon allocation to ensure quality and document any damage or deficiencies.
- Reconcile survey results with independent survey companies, as necessary.
- Document warehouse and warranty damages, as well as quality deficiencies.
- Complete audits of vehicle handling, installations, and other operations as requested.
- Inspect the proper installation of accessories and body and paint work, in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Report recurrent or serious deficiencies to the QC Manager and Shop Manager.
- Provide timely and accurate information to other departments or Port Representatives regarding damages, defects, or shortages.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid US Driver's License
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
- Ability to drive both automatic and straight shift vehicles
- Experience using/operating a two-way radio and a Freon detector
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Ability to effectively communicate, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions
- Problem-solving abilities and detail-oriented
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout shift
- Work at heights of approximately 15 feet
- Exposed to all outdoor elements, including heat, cold, rain, insects, and other conditions
