Telecommunications Technician

This role is responsible for overseeing project work to meet installation and timeline requirements by communicating and planning with Construction, Technology, and Store Planning teams. The successful candidate will participate in construction meetings, advise leadership on deficiencies, and recommend solutions. They will also evaluate new technology capabilities, conduct quality assurance checks, and inventory project materials.

• Conduct surveys to ensure wireless design integrity and validate wireless connectivity for reliability
• Adjust systems components as needed and collaborate with other teams to improve network availability
• Assist with the development and implementation of cabling and telecommunication systems for Walmart facilities
• Collaborate with internal support teams, suppliers, and customers to install, repair, program, and upgrade systems
• Conduct inspections of supplier installation or modifications of cabling and telecommunication equipment to ensure contract compliance
• Meet with regulators to ensure adherence to codes and standards
• Provide training to technicians on safety, troubleshooting, network operation, telephone programming, and installation
• Support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders

• 2 years' experience with data network connectivity
• Supervising associates and drivers license
