As a Telecommunications Project Manager at Walmart, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of cabling and telecommunications systems for our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee project work to meet installation and timeline requirements by communicating and planning with Construction, Technology, and Store Planning teams.
  • Participate in construction meetings and advise leadership on deficiencies and recommend solutions.
  • Evaluate new technology capabilities and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure availability of project materials.
  • Inventory project materials and ensure wireless design integrity by conducting surveys and validating wireless connectivity for reliability.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve network availability and assist with the development and implementation of cabling and telecommunication systems.
  • Install, repair, program, and upgrade systems in accordance with technical codes and standards.
  • Conduct inspections of supplier installation or modifications of cabling and telecommunication equipment to ensure contract compliance.
  • Meet with regulators to ensure adherence to codes and standards and form action plans to resolve installation issues.
  • Provide training to technicians on safety, troubleshooting, network operation, telephone programming, and installation.
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience with data network connectivity.
  • Supervising associates and drivers license.
