Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Assistant Manager to join our team at KARM Stores. As a key member of our retail management team, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for each customer.
  2. Assist Retail Management Team: Assist the retail management team in register transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and maintaining the accuracy and security of all transactions.
  3. Stockroom Management: Assist in stocking store shelves and clothing racks to provide customers with maximum shopping opportunities.
  4. Training and Development: Work with the retail manager to train new employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  5. Reporting and Record-Keeping: Complete daily reconciliation sales reports, bank deposits, and other reports with accuracy, and properly store all paperwork.
  6. Leadership and Teamwork: Help lead and equip the team by living out KARM Stores' mission and core values.
Requirements
  1. Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a strong command of the English language.
  2. Commitment to KARM Stores' Mission: Demonstrate a commitment to KARM Stores' mission and mission statement.
  3. Computer Skills: Possess basic computer skills, including typing and web browsing capabilities.
  4. Physical Demands: Stand for up to 100% of a standard workday, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform moderate to heavy physical activity.
Compensation

This is an hourly wage position, with a pay rate starting at $15 to $18.50 per hour based on experience.
