Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Associate Director for Orientation in our Student Orientation Programs team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, directing, and evaluating the University's orientation and transition programs for new undergraduate students and their families.

The Associate Director will supervise a team in planning, developing, and executing on-campus and off-campus orientation, transition, and anti-melt activities. This includes coordinating events such as IntroDUCKtion, Week of Welcome, Welcome to the Flock, and Winter Warm-up. The position also involves managing assessment strategies in consultation with SSEM Research and developing strategic plans for growth and implementation of new programs.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Associate Director will serve as a liaison to academic schools and departments, working closely with partners in SSEM Strategic Communication to execute communication plans. The position requires access to confidential data and independence in decision-making. We anticipate supervising 2.0 FTE Officers of Administration and determining policies and procedures for a student staff of over 65 students.

**Estimated Salary:** $83,000 - $110,000 per year

This is a full-time, exempt position that reports to the Director of Student Orientation Programs.
