About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as the Associate Director for Orientation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the University's orientation and transition programs for new undergraduate students and their families.

As the Associate Director, you will work closely with the leadership team to plan, develop, and execute on-campus and off-campus orientation, transition, and anti-melt activities. This includes coordinating events, managing assessment strategies, and developing strategic plans for growth and implementation of new programs.

You will also serve as a liaison to academic schools and departments, working closely with partners in SSEM Strategic Communication to execute communication plans. Additionally, you will have access to confidential data and independence in decision-making.

**Responsibilities:*

  • Develop and implement the University's orientation and transition programs
  • Supervise a team of Officers of Administration
  • Determine policies and procedures for a student staff of over 65 students
  • Serve as a liaison to academic schools and departments

**Requirements:*

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in student affairs, preferably in orientation and transition programming
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
