Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Community Engagement Coach to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students in their daily activities, fostering their growth towards independence, and embodying the mission, values, and philosophy of Mansfield Hall.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Support: Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to students on self-care, social communication, schedule management, and community engagement.
  • Progress Monitoring: Develop and implement student plans, monitoring progress and addressing challenges to ensure students achieve their goals.
  • Life Skill Development: Encourage independence and life skill development in students, promoting autonomy and self-advocacy.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain effective relationships with students, Director-level staff, and administrative leadership to ensure high-quality programming.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • One or more years of experience working with diverse learners, higher education settings, or multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting students in academic and social growth within a higher education environment.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
