About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA in Richmond, Virginia.

This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work with a renowned healthcare provider and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of medical imaging procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in providing patients with accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET scans and radiation therapy treatments
  • Analyze images and data to identify potential health issues
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including PET scanners and gamma cameras
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree from an accredited school of nuclear medicine technology
  • At least one year of experience in a hospital setting
  • A valid State license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Appropriate certifications for the specific position
