Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc. in Richmond, VA.

Job Summary:

About the Role:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to nuclear medicine imaging. Your primary goal will be to provide high-quality patient care while ensuring accurate and efficient diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nuclear medicine exams using various imaging modalities, including PET/CT and SPECT.
  • Analyze scan results to identify abnormalities and make recommendations for further testing or treatment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and any relevant medical history.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Degree from an AMA-approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT-N or CNMT licensure (or eligible for certification).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certification.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
