Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supervising all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Maintaining internal controls and safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and budget management.
  • Regularly generating financial reports and statements.
  • Coordinating all audit processes.
  • Managing and monitoring the performance of invested assets in accordance with policies and investment guidelines.
  • Overseeing the accounting department's operations, including designing an organizational structure to meet departmental goals.
  • Managing the accounting operations of subsidiary entities, focusing on their control systems and transaction-processing functions.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Financial Portfolio Manager position should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including GAAP.
  • Familiarity with automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  • Understanding of federal and state financial regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive financial reports, statements, and forecasts.
  • Knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to motivate teams to produce quality work within tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
