About the Role

The Senior Director of Human Resources will be a key member of the leadership team at Magic Concepts Hospitality Group, responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the company's growth objectives. This individual will oversee all HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, training, and development, and will play a crucial role in shaping the company culture as the organization continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop HR strategies in alignment with the company's growth objectives.
  • Oversee HR functions across multiple locations, ensuring consistency in policies and practices.
  • Build and lead the recruitment strategy to attract top talent for both frontline and leadership positions.
  • Develop performance management systems that drive accountability and high performance.
  • Foster a positive company culture that aligns with brand values and encourages employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Implement and oversee employee development programs, including training and succession planning.
  • Partner with leadership to drive initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Manage employee relations, including addressing grievances and guiding conflict resolution.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the HR team across different regions.
  • Design and implement compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in multi-unit retail - in fast food, restaurant industry or franchise environment are pluses.
  • Demonstrated success in developing HR strategies for rapidly scaling organizations.
  • Experience managing HR functions across multiple geographic locations.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and compliance, especially within the hospitality sector.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR is highly desired.
