Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in IT security analysis or a comparable role.
  • Experience in small to mid-sized organizations, demonstrating a strong capacity to adapt to diverse tasks and responsibilities.
  • Thorough understanding of security frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
  • Practical experience with security technologies and tools, such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail in recognizing and addressing security vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
  • Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex security concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Experience in incident response and digital forensics.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to enhance security processes.
